Double Trouble on the way J
We are expecting the first Grandbabies in the family in October, a little boy
and girl ..sooo excited! I wanted to make their blankets special and to reflect
each other, with the help of my color designer aka my husband we came up with
these beauties.
Pattern C2C which you can find how to’s all over Pinterest
and You tube. I used this wonderful tool to map out the blanket stitch fiddle, it is a fantastic tool
and easy to use. I have not tried putting a picture in my blanket yet but maybe
one day.
Both Blankets are 44rows + trims, first time I did a C2C blanket I did
not know how to put the first trim row on I just winged it. But now thanks to
Pinterest as always I found how to put the first row on, Storer
Bought Creations she shows how to do it ( I only used her first row as my trim).
The boys blanket I used the wave
edging I did not use double crochet as the base it made the edging too big
for blanket so I changed to half double crochet, my designer liked it much
better J. Girls
blanket I used shell
edging. And of course I put my signature hearts on the blankets.
